Bass, Visuals, Feels [Car Bass]

Ro-Den
Defining the track
This track was the first in my CAR BASS series - which is a sort of audio-visual initiative to take car visuals and it's rightful companion, bass house music, one step further. You know what I mean, cool looking cars with dark bouncy bass.
For this very first track, I wanted to convey some of the elements that made me create Krenade.com in the first place.. bass, visuals and feels. Or more accurately, bass + visuals = feels. Let's say I'm a big fan of audio-visual synergy and the way it guides our emotions.
production
I gave myself a deadline of 7 days to finish both the song and the visuals, mainly because I needed to speed up my whole workflow.
I also wanted the video to fall in line with one of our service offerings (the 3D Animated Cover Video) so I wanted the process to be repeatable. My workflow as a result is now much faster, even for more complicated music videos.
Having a deadline for audio is harder than visuals to an extent, so I found having a healthy amount of past music sessions with unfinished work and a mastering workflow that works for you helps immensely.
final thoughts
Although musically, this track leaves a little to be desired, I'm happy to have a strong first release and look forward to a much more successful second release. In summary, take this as a quick introduction to Krenade Audio-Visual.
Considering the tools the next generation are growing up with, I believe the next generation of artists will be both audio and visual in nature, or at least, far more than they are currently.
That's not to say one is more important than the other or all artists should be like that - but it can give a competitive edge in an already crowded market. And, hey, our services are always open!
